I’m alive–Legendary fuji musician Kollington Ayinla refutes death rumour

The well-known Fuji singer Kolawole Rasaq Ilori, better known by his stage name Killington Ayinla, has denied reports that he has passed away.

There had been earlier reports on Tuesday regarding Ayinla’s alleged serious health condition and unidentified illnesses.

In response to queries regarding his health, the 75-year-old musician declared in a public statement on Tuesday from the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, or LASUTH, that he is still alive.

In addition, the Fuji legend conveyed his appreciation to Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his assistance during his recent illness.

He also expressed gratitude to the hospital’s administration and CMD, Adetokunbo Fabanwo, who serves as LASUTH’s Chief Medical Director, for their superb care and attention.

He quoted with appreciation, ” Thank you to the people of Lagos. for your unwavering support and prayers during this challenging time.” ” I would like to express my gratitude to the State University Teaching Hospital’s administration, led by Adetokunbo O. Fabanwo, and the government of Lagos State.”

“Only God can preserve life, but I would like to express my gratitude to him and the team because, without them, I would have passed away.

“I hand it over to LASUTH. For looking after me, they are amazing. They are deserving of my greetings. You are the king, LASUTH LASUTH LASUTH. He remarked, “They said I was dead, but I’m here, speaking from the LASUTH now, alive.” He exlclaimed!!!
