Sanjay Shah, the founder and CEO of Vistex Asia, died suddenly on January 19, 2024 at the age of 53.

The 53-year-old Raju Datla, the firm president, and the 56-year-old Sanjay Shah, the CEO, were both confined in an iron cage. They were supposed to be lowered. However, things did not go as expected.
The iron chain supporting the cage broke on one side, sending them both plummeting fifteen feet to the stage.
They were hurriedly brought to the hospital. Shah got injuries to his hands and legs. Datla suffered a severe head injuries. Shah went away in the hospital, and Datla’s health is critical.
