This past Saturday night in Vihiga County, a pastor of a Catholic church was brutally attacked after he was discovered having an extramarital affair with the wife of another man in a Majengo lodging.
Accordingly, the pastor’s hands and legs were chopped off by enraged residents, whose identities were not disclosed to the public, who discovered him engaged in having sex with another man’s wife.
When Serem police station officers arrived on the scene, they saw the pastor laying on the ground, critically hurt and without limbs. He was taken to the Mbale referral hospital for a thorough medical examination without delay.
In addition, it was noted that the entire community expressed their discontent and painful features with the pastor’s alleged actions, accusing him of being unfair to their wives when they left their homes to earn a living.
Authorities have emphasized that they will pursue legal action against those responsible for the pastor’s assault, which has raised concerns about vigilante justice in the light of this tragedy.
However, the police have vowed and promised to bring the perpetrators to justice, condemning the use of violence and urging for a lawful resolution to such matters.
