Marco Penge parents are Angelo Penge and Marie Penge. As a Director of Norsat, Marco Penge’s father, Angelo, recalls: “My wife Marie bought me some cheap clubs for my fortyth birthday.” I should go outside and pick up a sport, she said. Marco was just five years old the last time I took him to the driving range at Pease Pottage. It was as simple as picking it up and driving it down the fairway. Marco’s father, Angelo, who was born in Italy, introduced him to golf when he was forty years old.
Marco Penge represented England in several international competitions and enjoyed a prosperous amateur career. In addition, he took part in events such as the Walker Cup, which is a well-known amateur team golf match between the United States, Great Britain, and Ireland that takes place every two years.
