In September 1965, German playboy model and actress Christa Speck married Marty Krofft. The Hollywood Reporter called her “one of the most celebrated Playboy Playmates” of her era. She was named Playmate of the Month in September 1961 and Playmate of the Year in the subsequent year.
The German native, who was born in Danzig, was first introduced to Playboy while she was employed as a Bank of America secretary. She lived in the opulent Playboy mansion and was a Playboy bunny at the Chicago Playboy Club. The magazine’s editors and readers voted to choose which of her plays made the top ten list from 1960.
On March 22, 2013, Christa, 70, passed away from natural causes. Together, she and Marty had three children: Kendra Krofft Moreno, Kristina Krofft, and Deanna Krofft-Pope. In addition, they had one great-grandchild, Maddox, and five grandchildren: Taylor, Karson, Griffin, Georgia, and Drake.
