Starc became engaged to fellow Australian cricketer Alyssa Healy and they married on 15 April 2016. They met each other when they were 9 as Starc started as a wicketkeeper.
Alyssa Jean Healy is an Australian cricketer who plays for the Australian women’s national team and New South Wales in domestic cricket, as well as the Sydney Sixers in the WBBL. She made her international debut in February 2010.
In March 2020, Starc flew home ahead of the final ODI match against South Africa, so he could watch Healy play in the final of the 2020 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup. Starc supports the Greater Western Sydney Giants in the Australian Football League, and the St George Illawarra Dragons in the National Rugby League.
