Sean Abbott is an Australian cricketer who hails from Windsor, New South Wales. He plays the role of an all-rounder and represents the Australian national cricket team.
Abbott isn’t bitter towards the man at the center of the fairytale call-up, either, who ironically became a father for the first time himself.

Sean married his long-time girlfriend Neil on June 29, 2022. The couple welcomed their adorable daughter in 2021 and named her Ella Florence Abbott. Brier has been a constant support throughout Abbott’s cricketing career.
Sean made his List A debut for New South Wales against Western Australia at the Sydney Cricket Ground on 17 October 2010 in the 2010–11 Ryobi One-Day Cup, but neither bowled nor batted in the match.
Abbott was named the Sydney Sixers Player of the Tournament in BBL|06 after taking 20 wickets over 10 games. He shared the award with Sixers batsman Daniel Hughes. In September 2023 Abbott was named in the Australia squad for the 2023 ODI World Cup in India.
