C-Knight was the father of Mason, 12, and Madilyn Knight, who will soon turn 13. Knight was born Arnez Blount on June 15, 1971, and grew up in the 21st Street neighborhood of Long Beach.
Knight joined The Dove Shack along with Bo-Roc and 2Scoops, and they made their debut on Warren G’s 1994 album Regulate, G Funk Era. Their biggest hit was “Summertime in the LBC”, which reached No. 54 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1995.
