Before Sy and Diaratou Sy are celebrity spouse who happens to be the parents of French actor, Omar Sy, who currently resides in Los Angeles.
The two are immigrants from West Africa. Damba, the father of the actor is From Senegal. Prior to moving to France, he resided in Bakel, a village in the Netherlands. He moved to France in 1962 and worked in an auto parts factory.
Diaratou on the other hand is originally from Mauritania. She worked as a house cleaner. There is little information about their early life and marriage hence, it is very difficult to talk about their ages and marriage life.
However, it is believed that they’ve been happily married for more than four decades now following their son’s age. They are both Muslims.
It is said that they have seven other children. They also have five grandchildren from their son, Omar who has been identified as Selly, Sabah, Alhadji, Tidiane, and Amani-Nou in L.A.
