Dw ight Howard, the former NBA player, has spoken out amid speculation regarding his sexual orientation and an ongoing sexual assault lawsuit.
In an Instagram Live video, he firmly stated that his private life should remain just that – private, and he encouraged others to do the same.
Howard stressed, “Whatever I’m doing in my bedroom is my damn business. Whatever you are doing in your bedroom is your damn business. Everybody don’t need to know. You ain’t got to say what is going on in your house. That ain’t for everybody on the internet. Y’all are just weird.”
He reiterated that there is no obligation for anyone to disclose their personal activities, regardless of external pressures or curiosity. Regarding the lawsuit’s allegations, Howard indirectly addressed the issue, stating, “I ain’t gotta deny it, I don’t gotta talk about none of that crap.
This sh*t didn’t even happen. You worried about the wrong stuff. That’s why it’s called an accusation. Allegedly. Come on, man.”
The lawsuit was filed by an individual named Stephen Harper, who accused Howard of sexual assault, alleging that the incident occurred in July 2021.
