CEO of Engineers and Planners and Dzata Cement, Ibrahim Mahama has also joined the hundreds of donors to provide some relief items to the victims of the Akosombo Dam spillage.
Mr. Ibrahim Mahama on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, provided some relief items worth hundreds of cedis to the area’s chief, the queen mothers, and the District Chief Executive (DCE) of Central, South, and North Tongu and Keta in the Volta Region to be shared to the people affected by the Akosombo Dam spillage.
With his team, the Business Maganate was able to donate relief items such as 20,000 bags of 5kg rice, 24,000 cans of mackerel, 12,000 bottles of cooking oil, 400 packs of water, and 1,000 student mattresses.
DCE for North Tongu, Hon. Divine Osborn K Fenu stands on behalf of the community to thank Mr. Ibrahim Mahama and his team. He stated that Mr. Ibrahim’s donation has brought joy to the people living in the affected communities.
The MPs of the area also expressed their joy and Hon. Ablakwa assured Mr. Ibrahim Mahama that the items would be equally shared among the victims affected by spillage. The paramount Chief of Bator, Torgbega Patamia Dzekley VII shows appreciation to Mr. Ibrahim Mahama for coming to their aid in this crucial time.
