A Ghanaian woman who has lived in Taiwan for the past 34 years has been arrested by authorities.
The 63-year-old woman was reportedly arrested a few days ago after she attempted to duck law enforcement in plain sight.
She allegedly attempted to outsmart officials due to the lack of staying and working permits despite living in the Eastern Asian country for more than three decades.
When nabbed, another Ghanaian man was invited to investigate her to confirm her country of origin. After speaking with her, the Ghanaian man confirmed that she is truly a Ghanaian.
The woman whose name is unknown is currently in police custody for further investigation and possible deportation.
