Ghanaian politician and actor John Dumelo has joined hundreds of donors to support the victims of the Akosombo Dam spillage.
He has been touched by what has happened to the Voltarian about the Akosombo Dam spillage and has presented to them some relief items worth millions.
The items that are given to the people who move out of their homes as a result of the flooding are clothing, bags of water, crates of eggs, bread, and rice.

The now politician stated that his farmhouse has been open for them to provide shelter, and also to those that he has worked with over the years.
“Yesterday I presented some relief items (water, fresh eggs, bread, slightly used clothing, Ghana rice) to some farming settlements (Torgome, Klamadaboe, Kesegakope) close to my farm along the Volta Lake,” he wrote.
He also added, “I have worked with some of them over the last 7 years. I have therefore opened up my farmhouse to them as extra shelter. God bless us all.”
