The late Bill Kenwright who was William Kenwright was born on September 4, 1945, in Liverpool, United Kingdom, and he was widely known as an English West End theatre producer and film producer. He was also the chairman of Everton Football Club for two decades between 2004 and up until he died in 2023.
Bill Kenwright attended Booker Avenue County Primary School, and then Liverpool Institute High School for Boys from 1957 to 1964. He appeared in school productions which include Shylock in The Merchant of Venice on the stage in the Mount Street building predecessor to LIPA. He was also treasurer of the Christian Union at school.

Bill Kenwright’s death occurred when he was 78 years old. He passed away on October 23, 2023, as a result of liver cancer.
A short update of Kenwright’s health was provided by Evertonon on October 12, 2023, saying a statement: “Following a diagnosis at the beginning of August, Mr Kenwright underwent a major medical procedure six weeks ago to remove a cancerous tumour from his liver. The procedure was completely successful, but complications during surgery necessitated a prolonged period in an intensive care unit.” Everton further went on to say: “his recovery is expected to be lengthy, but complete.”
