Jake DeBrusk is a Canadian professional ice hockey left winger currently playing for the Boston Bruins in the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted 14th overall by the Bruins in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.

DeBrusk is the son of former NHL player and current Hockey Night in Canada broadcaster Louie DeBrusk, Jake DeBrusk also has a sister named Jordyn DeBrusk. Jordyn is very supportive of her brother’s career.
DeBrusk was taken in the 7th round by the Swift Current Broncos at the 2011 WHL Bantam Draft. In 2015, he was selected for the CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game. DeBrusk scored 81 points in 72 games with the Swift Current Broncos during the 2014–15 WHL season.
Ranked number 19 on the NHL Central Scouting Bureau’s list of North American skaters eligible for the 2015 NHL Entry Draft, DeBrusk was selected in the first round, 14th overall, by the Boston Bruins.
DeBrusk went to the 2016 Memorial Cup with the host Rebels, where they were eliminated by the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies in the semi-final match.
