Colorado cops, following a viral video shot in one of their National Forests, suggest that scientists and anthropologists should investigate the alleged bigfoot sightings.
San Juan County Undersheriff Steve Lowrance acknowledges the need for experts to determine the authenticity of the creature or if it’s just someone in a fursuit.
Although Lowrance personally isn’t a believer in the bigfoot legend, he believes that law enforcement shouldn’t allocate resources to solve the mystery.
The sasquatch, despite its elusiveness, doesn’t have a criminal record or appear on any police watchlist. San Juan County has had a few bigfoot sightings over the years, but no crimes or missing persons have been associated with the creature.
While there’s speculation about individuals dressing as bigfoot to commit crimes, it doesn’t greatly concern the undersheriff.
The U.S. Forest Service can’t confirm the authenticity of the recent footage, leaving it to scientists to potentially provide answers regarding the furry enigma.
