Douglas Daniel Clark, an American serial killer and necrophile, lived from March 10, 1948, to October 11, 2023. Although they are suspected in the killings of several additional women and young girls, Clark and his accomplice Carol Mary Bundy were known as the Sunset Strip Killers and were responsible for the murders of at least seven people.
In Los Angeles, California, Clark was accused of six murders; he was found guilty in 1983. Usually, young prostitutes or teenage runaways, Clark’s victims were beheaded and their severed heads were preserved as souvenirs. He would also engage in sexual activity with their corpses.

The third of five children born to a retired naval admiral who later worked as an international naval intelligence officer, Doug Clark was born on March 10, 1948. Clark had a fortunate upbringing as a “military brat.”
Due to his father’s work, Clark’s family had to move about a lot when he was a child. Later, he claimed to have lived in 37 nations, including India, Switzerland, and the Marshall Islands. The family continued to migrate even after his father left the Navy in 1958 to take a job as an engineer with the Transport Company of Texas.
