The lady who went viral after speaking passionately about the broken healthcare system in Ghana at the recently concluded ‘Occupy Julorbi House’ protest has revealed she no longer has her job following the protest.

Nasiba Bawa, a young lady who strongly voiced her concerns over the challenges facing the healthcare system in Ghana in a viral clip during the ‘Occupy Julorbi House’ protest has been fired and her contract termination came in a rather shocking fashion.

According to Nasiba, she was dismissed from her place of employment 48 hours after the protest, without any official query.

In a new interview with Joy News, she said she doesn’t want to draw any links of her dismissal to the demonstration because she didn’t get a query for participating in the protest.

She further stated that she doesn’t know her company to be partisan to have her suffer this job loss.

Nasiba is a master’s graduate from the School of Communication Studies at the University of Ghana, Legon.

Nasiba has received overwhelming support since her interview across all social media platforms.

“She will definitely get a better job than that one mpo If God say yes no one can say no,” Instagram user @shelter_blaze said.

Dr. Sangu Delle, CEO of CarePoint, offered to secure her a job in a Twitter post.

“Does anyone have her contact details?” he tweeted. “I’ll help her find a job! & please share which private company this is if you know so we can all boycott its goods/services. The freedom to protest is sacrosanct and guaranteed by the Constitution and international law.”

Many others on social media requested information about the company in order to boycott their services.
