Ghanaian actor and politician John Dumelo has been captured inconsolable during his late mother’s funeral.
The final funeral rite for Mrs. Antoinette Veronica Ama Ampoma Dumelo, mother of John Dumelo, was held on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at East Legon Executive Men’s Club in Accra.
The ceremony was graced by friends of the actor and number of politicians, including former President, John Dramani Mahama and his brother, Ibrahim Mahama.

But the highlight of the event was when John Dumelo broke down in tears and become inconsolable while the ceremony was ongoing.
The same incident happened when her one week observation ceremony took place in East Legon a few weeks ago. This probably shows how much he has been affected by her mum’s passing and how much he would miss her.

John Dumelo described his mother as his “number one supporter” when she passed away on August 6, 2021.
“My heart is broken. My dear mother passed away peacefully yesterday….my number one supporter. Heaven has gained an angel,” he said on his Instagram page when he announced her death.
The wife of the actor and his two children have also been captured giving him their maximum support as his first family.
