Ghanaian afrobeats musician Wendy Shay has blamed her recent motor accident on spiritual attacks from some Ghana music industry stakeholders.
According to the ‘Survivor’ hitmaker, spiritual attacks was the root cause of her recent near-fatal accident that happened at in Accra a few weeks ago.
Wendy Shay now claims that her accident wasn’t by natural causes and that some people who know themselves planned to kill her.
She disclosed this in an interview on Accra-based Hitz FM on Thursday, Sepetember 28, 2023.
“The kind of accident that happened was very severe and serious. For me to be here is by God’s grace,” she told Andy Dosty on the ‘Daybreak Hitz’ show.
She claimed that the attackers know themselves but they are trying to pin it on her manager, Bullet.
“It was actually funny to me, and that’s why I’ll say once again that those who wanted to kill me know themselves. They know themselves and they are trying to put it on Bullet. It wasn’t like a normal or natural attack.”
She linked her accident to an interview she granted where she adviced newcomers to take their spirituality seriously before venturing into the music industry. She said her interview triggered the spiritual attacks.
“I had an interview where I was advicing young musicians who want to get into the music industry to take their spirituality serious because the industry is really dark,” Wendy Shay claimed.
