Reinhard Bonnke was a German-American Pentecostal evangelist, known for his gospel missions throughout Africa. Bonnke had been a missionary in Africa since 1967 until his early retirement in November, a month before his death. He announced on his Facebook page that he had undergone femur surgery and needed time to “learn how to walk again”

Reinhard Bonnke before his death had a beautiful family he had always cherished.
He married the love of his life Anni Suelze, who was indeed very supportive of her husband and his work in the ministry. They reportedly met at a music festival which Anni Suelze had lost the competition. He offered to preach at her church and before long they fell in love.
The couple got married in 1964 and have since been together until Reinhard Bonnke’s death in 2019.

Reinhard Bonnke had an amazing family that has always supported him in terms of his career and life choices. He was born on 19 April 1940, in Königsberg, East Prussia, Germany, to Herman Bonnke an army logistics officer, and his wife.
Together with his mother and siblings, they flee to Denmark during the evacuation of East Prussia.
His father had become a pastor after the war had ended. Reinhard Bonnke became a born-again Christian at the age of nine after his mother spoke with him about a sin that he had committed.
