Luis Rubiales, the head of Spanish Football, has been temporarily banned by FIFA.

This comes after a big fuss about his behavior after the Women’s World Cup final.

Rubiales refused to quit his job even after people got upset about him kissing Jenni Hermoso, a player on the winning Spanish team, after they beat England 1-0 in Sydney.

FIFA not only suspended Rubiales but also told him and the Spanish Football Association not to talk to Jenni Hermoso or anyone close to her.

The entire coaching team, all 11 members, of Jorge Vilda resigned. Rubiales talked at a press conference to defend himself.

He said the kiss was not a big deal and that it happened with both their consent. He also said he’s being targeted unfairly by some people calling themselves feminists.

He even said he might sue his accusers. Jenni Hermoso didn’t agree with Rubiales. She said the football federation has a controlling and unfriendly culture.

Some people support Rubiales, while others believe Hermoso. Rubiales is being investigated, and people wonder if he will stay in charge or not.
