Golf legend, John Daly tied the knot with Sherrie Miller on July 29, 2001. John Patrick Daly II, their son, was born on July 23, 2003.
In Memphis, Tennessee, the location of the Stanford St. Jude Championship that week’s tour stop, Daly and Sherrie got into a brawl on June 8, 2007.
Daly asserts that his wife used a steak knife to assault him later that evening. On Friday afternoon, he arrived for his second bout with scratches and wounds all over his face.
He called the police, and they came to his house, but his wife had already left, taking their son with her.
Sherrie was given a five-month jail term after at some time entering a guilty plea to federal narcotics charges.
