Pádraig Peter Harrington is an Irish professional golfer who plays on the European Tour, PGA Tour, and the PGA Tour Champions.

Harrington and his wife Caroline have known each other since childhood. They were married in 1997 and have two sons. Harrington became a Global Ambassador for Special Olympics, the world’s largest sports organization for people with intellectual disabilities, in May 2010. He has conducted several golf clinics for Special Olympics athletes and coaches.
Pádraig grew up in Rathfarnham, Also turned professional later that year, joining the European Tour in 1996. Harrington came to professional golf at a relatively late age, having studied accountancy at university for several years while playing high-standard amateur golf.
In 2022, Harrington started playing on PGA Tour Champions. He finished second to Steve Stricker in his first senior major, The Tradition. In March 2023 it was announced that Harrington would be elected World Golf Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2024.
