In a shocking incident that has sent shockwaves across social media, a Ghanaian woman identified as Betty has come forward to share her harrowing ordeal at the hands of armed robbers disguised as a taxi driver and his passengers.
The incident took place on Sunday, July 9th, around 6:30 pm in Kaneshie North, Accra.
Betty, who worked night shifts at a company in Osu, found herself in a precarious situation when she couldn’t secure a public transport vehicle to Circle, where she planned to catch another ride to her workplace.
Running late and desperate to reach her destination, she decided to flag down a taxi. Little did she know that the taxi she boarded was not ordinary.
Instead, it was a trap set by a group of criminals.
As the journey progressed, the situation took a horrifying turn. The three men who posed as fellow passengers suddenly turned violent, brutally assaulting Bertty and subjecting her to unimaginable cruelty.
Betty narrated how this group of armed robbers disguised as taxi driver and passengers stripped her nâked and beat her up around Kaneshie North, Accra.
Betty, despite her trauma, decided to share her story on Instagram to raise awareness about the dangers lurking on the streets of Accra.
