Robert Kraft is an American businessman and the owner of the New England Patriots, a professional football team in the National Football League (NFL). He was born on June 5, 1941, in Brookline, Massachusetts.

 

Kraft’s business career began in the paper and packaging industry. In 1972, he founded the Rand-Whitney Group, a packaging company, which eventually became one of the largest privately owned packaging companies in the United States.

In 1994, Kraft purchased the New England Patriots. Under his ownership, the team has experienced tremendous success, winning multiple Super Bowl championships and establishing itself as one of the most successful franchises in NFL history. The Patriots’ success has been attributed in part to Kraft’s leadership and his commitment to creating a winning culture within the organization.
