Amanda Asay was a Canadian baseball star born on May 16, 1988 in Prince George. She was a part of Canada’s national women’s baseball team.

She earned a silver medal at the Pan American Games held in the year 2015. She was also a softball player for Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.

Whitewater Ski Resort Sales and Marketing Director, Peter Lonergan revealed in an emailed statement  on Sunday;

“On the morning of Friday, January 7, 2022, Whitewater Dispatch was advised that there was an older female in a tree well on the top side of Whitewater Ski Resort and patrol responded accordingly”.

This woman happened to be Amanda Asay and it was very shocking to the police patrol themselves.

Asay died as a result of injuries sustained in the collision
