Jennifer Lynn Pandos was a second-year student at Lafayette High School. She went missing at the age of 15 from her family home in the Kingsmill area of Williamsburg in February 1987.
What happened to Jennifer Lynn Pandos?
According to reports, Jennifer’s mother whose name is Margie attempted to wake her daughter early in the morning on the morning of February 10, but realised that her bedroom door was locked and that the room beyond was empty.
Upon entry into the room, it was found that Jennifer was not in the room, except a note at the end of her bed. The note began in the third person and read; “Your daughter’s with me. She’s fine. She’s having some problems and needs some time away.”
It then switched to a first-person perspective and continued; “I’m fine, I just need time to think. Both of you please go to work tomorrow ‘cause I will try to call you. I won’t call you at home, only at one of y’all’s work. Do not call the police. I can easily find out if you do. I may never come back home. Don’t tell my friends about this. Just tell them that I’m sick.”
However, following the initial investigation, which saw Jennifer’s parents and boyfriend interviewed by police, investigators stated that there was no evidence of a crime and that they believed she had left home of her own accord.
Was Jennifer Pandos ever found?
Sadly enough, Jennifer Pandos has never been found, however, her brother, Stephen, is still searching for the truth about her, even though it’s been 36 years since she went missing. By June 2023, Jennifer Pandos would be 51 years old. The case is still considered open and an investigator is assigned to it.
