Indian professional golfer Aditi Ashok, who was born in Bangalore, competes on both the Ladies European Tour and the LPGA Tour. Ashok Gudlamani and Maheshwari welcomed Aditi into the world on March 29, 1998, in Bangalore.

Aditi made Olympic history by becoming the first Indian woman to play golf in Rio de Janeiro in 2016 and Tokyo in 2020. On the Ladies European Tour, she has achieved victories.

Despite not having an LPGA Tour victory to her name, she finished second in the J.M. Eagle L.A. Championship presented by Plastpro in 2023. Aditi Ashok created history by becoming the first Indian woman golfer to crack the top 50 rankings with a T5 finish at the PLGA Founders Cup. She scored an average of 1.89 points, bringing her up 15 ranks in the standings, and is presently in position 49.

American Nelly Korda continues to be in first place in the Women’s World Golf Rankings with an average score of 8.40. Jin Young Ko from Korea has moved up one position into second place, passing Lydia Ko from New Zealand, who had an average of 7.84 points, with an average of 8.38 points.
