Julie A. Su is the daughter of a Chinese mother and a Taiwan father. She is recognized as an American attorney who has served as United States deputy secretary of labor since 2021.
Before assuming that post, she was the California Labor Secretary, serving under Governor Gavin Newsom, and headed California’s Division of Labor Standards Enforcement under Governor Jerry Brown.

Julie Su was once married and is now divorced. She got married to her husband name Hernan Vera. The two had their wedding in the States and divorced in December 2017.
The 54-year-old Julie Su hardly shares information about her personal life and little is known about her private life.
However, a Twitter tweet has been captured and we now know she has a 20 years old teenage daughter that the media knows nothing about. Her name was not found.
According to the Twitter post, when her daughter was 5, she follow her every year to the polls knowing fully well that, each presidential election was history-making. And now that she is 17, she joins her to drop the ballot off early.
