The riders of both tricycles and other passengers suffered severe injuries in the collision.

Prompt action was taken, and the injured victims were promptly rushed to the Berekum Holy Family Hospital for medical care. Tragically, a young lady among them succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead.

In a disturbing turn of events, enraged local youth set the private car ablaze, fueled by suspicions that the driver was involved in ‘sakawa rituals.’

Nana Kwame, whose container was also destroyed in the accident, highlighted the area’s reputation as an accident-prone zone. Construction of a speed bump is currently underway to address the issue of overspeeding.

Currently, reports reaching us at Ghanafuo.com is that one of the three victims remains in critical condition, while the remaining two are currently stable.
