American actress Melissa Ivy Rauch was born on June 23, 1980. She rose to fame by portraying Bernadette Rostenkowski-Wolowitz on the CBS comedy The Big Bang Theory, for which she was nominated in 2013 for the Critics’ Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.
Rauch participated frequently in the VH1 series Best Week Ever from 2004 to 2008. In addition to these roles, Rauch has appeared as Summer in the HBO fantasy horror series True Blood and Tina in the American adaptation of Kath & Kim.
