Thomas Edward Sizemore Jr. had battled with his health since he was 15 years old as he struggled with doing away with drugs. He had been sentenced and put on probation due to his constant use of drugs. Sizemore was caught once for attempting to fake the urine test using a Whizzinator. But in a 2013 interview, Sizemore claimed that he began to achieve sobriety and was forging a better path for himself until January 5, 2019, Sizemore was arrested for misdemeanor drug possession of “various illegal narcotics” in Burbank, California.

Tom Sizemore health problems: What disease did Tom Sizemore have?

Tom Sizemore suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm at his Los Angeles home and was hospitalized at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in critical condition on February 18, 2023.

A brain aneurysm also known as intracranial aneurysm is a cerebrovascular disorder in which weakness in the wall of a cerebral artery or vein causes a localized dilation or ballooning of the blood vessel.

Aneurysms in the posterior circulation (basilar artery, vertebral arteries, and posterior communicating artery) have a higher risk of rupture. Basilar artery aneurysms represent only 3–5% of all intracranial aneurysms but are the most common aneurysms in the posterior circulation.
