Daniel Durant is an American actor who was born on July 20, 1993, in Worcester, Massachusetts. He is best known for his work in television, film, and theater. Durant is deaf and communicates primarily through American Sign Language (ASL).
Durant made his acting debut in the short film “The Hyperglot” in 2013. He gained wider recognition for his role as Ben in the acclaimed Broadway play “Spring Awakening,” which featured deaf and hearing actors and was performed in ASL and spoken English. Durant also appeared in the film adaptation of “Spring Awakening” in 2021.
