Marques Houston has recently become a daddy has had a beautiful baby girl to spoil silly. Marques welcomed his first daughter, Zara Houston, on December 2, 2021, with his baby mama and now wife Miya Dickey.
Houston and Dickey got in engaged in March 2019 after five months of dating. The couple has received a lot of critics concerning their relationship, especially with the huge age gap of 20 years.
Even with all the backlashing, Houston keeps defending his relationship with Miya Dickey
A photo is currently circulating online with Houston’s age marked as 40 and Dickey’s as 22. It stated that the couple have already celebrated three years of marriage and 10 years of togetherness, making people question if Houston and Dickey had been together since the former was only 12 while the latter was already an adult.
Houston explained that they met because Dickey is a friend of the daughter of Chris Stokes. Stokes and Houston began working together when Houston was a member of the R&B boy band Immature which first came to fame in the 1990s.
Houston said he and Dickey “didn’t start dating until she was an adult” and that they are both of the Jehovah’s Witnesses faith.
