Stella Stevens was a popular American actress in the late 1950s and early 60s.
She began her acting career in 1959 and starred in such popular films as Girls! Girls! Girls!, The Nutty Professor, The Courtship of Eddie’s Father, The Silencers, Where Angels Go, Trouble Follows, The Ballad of Cable Hogue, and The Poseidon Adventure.
Stella Stevens was born on October 1, 1938,  in Yazoo City, Mississippi, United States, and had a career span starting in 1959 till 2010.

Stella Stevens had sold her longtime Beverly Hills home, and she moved to a long-term Alzheimer’s care facility in Los Angeles. Her long-time boyfriend rock guitarist Bob Kulick had often visited her until his death on May 28, 2020.

 

Stevens died from Alzheimer’s disease in Los Angeles on February 17, 2023, at the age of 84 years.

 Alzheimer’s disease is a progressive disease that destroys memory and other important mental functions. The Brain cell connections and the cells themselves degenerate and die, eventually destroying memory and other important mental functions.
