Harrison was born to Dawne and Marvin Harrison on August 11, 2002, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

From 1996 until 2008, his father was a wide receiver with the Indianapolis Colts, and he was later elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Harrison transferred from La Salle College High School to St. Joseph’s Preparatory School after his freshman year.

How fast was Marvin Harrison?

It’s not because Harrison possesses unrivalled linear speed that the vertical route must be the first move in his repertoire. While by most measures a 4.6 confirmed 40-yard sprint isn’t very slow, what sets him apart from the competition is the body control he displays while having a larger build.

Harrison helped St. Josephs win three straight state titles while posting career highs in the Philadelphia Catholic League with 2,625 receiving yards and 37 touchdowns.

He played football alongside Ohio State quarterback Kyle McCord at St. Joseph’s. Harrison was rated as the 14th-best receiver recruits in the country after graduating from high school and was a four-star talent. Despite receiving offers from schools like Florida, Michigan, Penn State, LSU, Notre Dame, and Texas A&M, he decided to play collegiate football at Ohio State University.
