Drummond invented the method of breeding steers and pasture-renting cattle. The majority of his revenues were used to purchase or rent additional land in the Osage.

He eventually acquired ranges in Texas and Kansas, relying on allies to keep an eye on the dispersed herds.

How did the Drummonds get so much land?

Tim and Ladd Drummond, brothers, are the owners and operators of Drummond Land & Cattle Co., which was established in the early 1990s by Chuck, Tim, and Ladd Drummond. The ranch’s headquarters are in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, and it is active in many facets of the cattle business.

The Pioneer Woman needs no introduction. Ree Drummond first rose to fame with a blog charting her adventures with raising four (now five) kids with her husband, Ladd, on a ranch near Pawhuska, Okla.

While Mauricio has been known to pull a prank or two on the set of The Pioneer Woman, he actually has a full-time (and then some) job for a technology consulting company.
