American professional basketball player Kyrie Andrew Irving, born on March 23, 1992, plays for the NBA’s Brooklyn Nets (NBA). Australia’s Melbourne is where Irving was born. Irving is the son of American expatriates Drederick Irving and Elizabeth Irving.
Irving has two sisters: London, who is younger, and Asia, who is older. At Boston University, Drederick’s father Shawn Teague, the father of Jeff and Marquis Teague, and coach Rick Pitino were also basketball players.
