Martha Wash is an American singer-songwriter, actor, and producer who was born on December 28, 1953. Wash, who is well-known for her distinctive and strong voice, originally rose to prominence as a member of the duo Two Tons O’ Fun, which provided backing vocals for Sylvester, especially on his iconic hit “You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)”.
