American football coach Michael Lee McDaniel was born on March 6, 1983, in Aurora, Colorado, United States of America. He currently serves as the NFC’s head coach of the Miami Dolphins (NFL). He is currently 39 years old.
McDaniel started his NFL coaching career in 2005 as a Denver Broncos intern. He was a former long-time assistant to Mike and Kyle Shanahan.
From 2017 through 2021, McDaniel worked as an assistant coach with the San Francisco 49ers, Washington Redskins, Cleveland Browns, Atlanta Falcons, and Houston Texans. In 2021, he was named offensive coordinator for the first time.
