English-born American musician, singer, songwriter, photographer, and activist Graham William Nash was born on 2 February 1942. He is often recognized for his light tenor voice and for his work with Crosby, Stills, Nash, and the Hollies.
Nash holds four honorary doctorates, including one from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, one in fine arts from the New York Institute of Technology, and one in music from the University of Salford in 2011.
Nash is both a published photographer and a collector of images. As a member of Crosby, Stills & Nash, and the Hollies, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997 and 2010.
For his contributions to music and philanthropy, he was named an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2010 Birthday Honours List.
