Will Clapp born December 10, 1995, is an American football center for the National Football League’s Los Angeles Chargers (NFL). He attended Louisiana State University and played football there.
Clapp attended New Orleans’ Brother Martin High School. In January 2010, he committed to play football for the LSU Tigers.
Clapp elected to redshirt rather than play as a true freshman in 2014. Clapp started all 12 games for the Tigers as a redshirt freshman in 2015.
He was third on the team in total snaps (776), and knockdown blocks (88), and did not allow a sack all season. He was chosen to the SEC’s All-Freshman team in 2015.
Is Will Clapp still in the NFL and where does he play?
The Los Angeles Chargers have signed former New Orleans Saints offensive lineman Will Clapp, according to Field Yates of ESPN. Clapp, an unrestricted free agent, had been with the Saints since 2018.
Clapp was selected by the Saints in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL Draft out of LSU. In four seasons with the team, he appeared in 18 games, starting seven of them.
The pipeline from New Orleans to Los Angeles is still in operation. Will Clapp, a former Saints offensive lineman, has signed to terms with the Los Angeles Chargers.
