Mariah Carey, an American singer, songwriter, actor, and record producer, was born on March 27, 1969. Her five-octave vocal range, melismatic singing style, distinctive usage of the whistle register, and songwriting have earned her the moniker “Songbird Supreme.” She has also been referred to as the “Queen of Christmas” due to the lasting success of her holiday songs, particularly the 1994 Christmas song “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”
With the release of her debut album Mariah Carey, Carey became well-known. From “Vision of Love” through “Emotions,” she was the first artist to have all five of their first singles hit the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100.
Mariah Carey children: Meet Monroe Cannon, Moroccan Scott Cannon
Twins Moroccan and Monroe Cannon were born to Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon on their third wedding anniversary in 2011.
These kids look to have both of their parents’ big personalities. Despite Cannon and Carey’s divorce in 2014, the family continues to appear together and celebrate numerous holidays and birthdays.
The couple spends a lot of tender one-on-one time with their children. Monroe and Moroccan, twins who are 11 years old, belong to the singer and the television host.
Carey and Cannon—who they fondly refer to as “dem kids”—remain supportive of one another and their children after becoming divorced.
