Jeremy Lee Renner is a musician and actor from the United States.

He began his career in independent films like Dahmer and Neo Ned, then moved on to supporting roles in bigger films like S.W.A.T. and 28 Weeks Later. Renner was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actor for his work in The Hurt Locker, as well as for Best Supporting Actor for his work in The Town.

Renner portrayed serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer in the 2002 film Dahmer. Renner found the non-fiction role difficult to accept after finishing the film, knowing that Dahmer murdered seventeen people. Renner’s performance was well received, and he was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for Best Lead Male.

Renner also appeared as a Bad Boy Sheriff in Pink’s music video for “Trouble” in 2003. Renner went on to appear in S.W.A.T. as Colin Farrell’s former police partner in 2003 and The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things in 2004.
