Woody Allen siblings: Meet Letty Aronson

Woody Allen was the first of Nettie and Martin Konigsberg’s two children, born as Allan Stewart Konigsberg. Letty, his sister, was born in 1943.

Allen’s childhood was not particularly noteworthy because of the tumultuous relationship between his parents and the temperamental mother Nettie, who had a negative effect on the young Allen.
Before enrolling himself at the Midwood High School, he frequently moved schools and educational institutions. Allen exhibited more interest in extracurricular activities than in the academic material.
