Bobby Driessen, a beloved Young Talent Time star, passed away in his sleep at the age of 56.
From 1979 through 1983, Driessen regularly appeared on Young Talent Time, and the Network 10 program paid respect to the former cast member on social media.
Young Talent Time wrote on Facebook on Thursday night, “All of us here at Young Talent Time, are incredibly saddened to hear the news of Bobby Driessen one of our beloved team members has passed away in his sleep,”
When Driessen left Young Talent Time, he seemed to vanish from the spotlight; the program was unable to track him down when they planned a reunion event the following year.
Young Talent Time stated in a Facebook post from the previous year that Bobby was one of only two contestants they were unable to locate for their Reunion program earlier in the year. Please let us know if anyone has his contact information.
From 1982 until 1988, the show included Australian legend Dannii Minogue in addition to Karen Dunkerton, Joey Perrone, Mark McCormack, and Jodie Loebert.
