Stephen Greif parents: Meet Francis Greif, Pauline Greif

Stephen Greif, who starred in Blake’s 7 and The Crown, passed away at the age of 78.

Greif had a long career in theater and film. He also made appearances in Doctors, Coronation Street, and EastEnders.

According to his agents at Michelle Braidman Associates, “We announce the passing of our excellent client Stephen Greif with deep sorrow.”

“His extensive career included numerous roles on screen and stage, including at the National Theatre, RSC, and in the West End.

“We will miss him dearly and our thoughts are with his family and friends.”

The Hertfordshire-born actor attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts before joining the National Theatre Company at London’s Old Vic and Southbank theaters.

He appeared in it from 1978 to 1981 along with Gareth Thomas, Paul Darrow, and Sally Knyvette.

Additionally, he played Commander John Shepherd in Shoot On Sight and Signor Donato in Casanova in three seasons of Citizen Smith.

Stephen Greif’s parents are Francis Greif (father) and Pauline Greif (mother). He appeared in a number of theatrical productions during the 1960s and 1970s before transitioning to the big screen to play Travis in Blake’s 7.
