Jonny Labey is a British actor best known for playing Paul Coker on the BBC serial opera EastEnders. He was born on January 15, 1993.
He went to Victoria College and Grouville School. He started dancing at age 5 and had his stage debut as a member of the Jersey Amateur Dramatic Club at age 8.
He left Jersey in 2011 to enroll in a BA program at the Doreen Bird College of Performance in Sidcup, London and received his diploma in 2014. His cousin, fellow performer Philip Labey, is well-known for playing “Acorn” in several television commercials for Oak Furnitureland in the middle of the 2010s alongside Stephen Critchlow.

Following graduation, Labey made stage appearances in productions like White Christmas and In the Heights. He was in the Leon Lopez movie Soft Lad. As Paul Coker, the grandson of Les Coker (Roger Sloman) and Pam Coker, Labey joined the EastEnders ensemble in 2015. (Lin Blakley).
Ben Mitchell (Harry Reid), with whom the character falls in love, subsequently dies in a homophobic attack. Between 1 June 2015 and 8 September 2016, Labey made 106 episodes of EastEnders. Rupert Brooke, the play’s protagonist, was his first role since leaving EastEnders. Verge of Strife was performed in Edinburgh in August 2016. He participated in ITV’s Dance Dance Dance competition in 2017.
He started participating in The X Factor: Celebrity in October 2019. In week 1, he received a safe seat alongside Jenny Ryan and Try Star, but in week 2, he was eliminated after finishing in the bottom two with Martin Bashir when the outcome was tied. He came in at position ten. He played Jamie Renton in a Doctors episode on the BBC in 2022.
