English actress Patricia Franklin (born 11 September 1942) is best known for her roles in the five Carry On movies.
Franklin’s debut performance after graduating from RADA was as a hostess in a 1968 edition of At Last The 1948 Show.
She then performed in Uproar in the House alongside Joan Sims and Peter Butterworth for nine months in the West End. Sims and Butterworth were regulars in the series, so Carry On film producer Peter Rogers was present. He made Franklin an offer for a part in the upcoming movie, which she accepted.
